Accredited Short Courses

ASA - Accredited Short CoursesASA – Australian Sports Academy offers Accredited Professional Development Short courses that will give you the opportunity to enhance your current skills. Courses are available both in Australia and offshore.

These short courses will be of benefit to people who want to work in the Sport and Recreation Industry. It will also be of enormous advantage for existing people working in the sports industry without professional qualifications.

ASA delivers short courses that can be tailored to an individual or group’s specific needs. ASA short courses are developed and delivered in any of the following ways:

  1. Individual units have been clustered together into industry specialist areas. These units have been specifically clustered together to give the individual or group the most extensive and productive learning experience according to workplace or industry requirements. A full list of these clustered unit short courses is provided below.
  2. According to the needs of an individual or group, any of the clustered units listed below can be delivered as standalone single units.
  3. Individual units can be clustered together to create a unique short course that is tailored to an individual or group’s specific requirements.
Vocational outcomes

A Statement of Attainment will be awarded to each participant that completes the courses. The Statement of Attainment will be awarded as proof of a partial completion of the qualifications from the SRS03 Sport Industry Training Package (on sufficient evidence being gathered to meet required standard of The Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).
